Hangtown Classic

· UTC

The Hangtown Classic is a motocross race held at Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova, California, approximately 30 kilometers east of Sacramento. The track is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills and consists of a track just over one mile in length with challenging terrain and high jumps for expert-level riders. The surface is hardpack with decomposed granite, typical Sierra foothill dirt that is firm in the morning, breaks down midday, and becomes technical in the afternoon. The surrounding landscape features flat open grasslands, rolling hills with oak trees, and historic tailings piles left from gold mining operations. The Hangtown Classic is the oldest continuously held motocross national event in America, dating back to 1969. Here you will find all upcoming races with schedule and broadcast, plus the previous winners.
