The route sections lead through the Ciociaria region, including around the thermal spa town of Fiuggi, featuring narrow and fast passages with hairpin bends and technical climbs and descents. Since 2017, Rally di Roma Capitale has been a permanent fixture of the FIA European Rally Championship and is distinguished by special stages such as a sprint stage at the Colosseum.
