Sandown Raceway

Sandown Raceway is a motor racing circuit located in Springvale, Victoria, approximately 25 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's city centre. The circuit opened on 11 March 1962 and is considered one of Australia's oldest permanent motorsport facilities. It is known as a power circuit featuring long straights of approximately 900 metres and regularly hosts the Supercars Championship. Due to its location in a residential suburb, the circuit is limited to approximately five events per year.
