Sachsenring
The Sachsenring is the seventh stop of the 2026 DTM season. The permanent race track in Hohenstein-Ernstthal was opened in 1927 and has operated as a Grand Prix circuit since 1996. The Sachsenring is not a traditional DTM venue - the series returned to Hohenstein-Ernstthal for the first time in 21 years in 2023. The 3.671-kilometer track combines high-speed direction changes with tight corners, with the famous Pflanzgarten section demanding maximum concentration and precision. With eight of 16 championship races completed, this event presents crucial challenges in the championship's final stretch.
