4 Hours of Barcelona
The 4 Hours of Barcelona launches the six-round 2027 season of the European Le Mans Series on 14 March at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The race takes place four weeks earlier than the previous year's event. Opened in 1991, the track is one of Europe's premier racing venues and features a modern Grand Prix layout of 4.657 km with fast sweeping corners, technical medium-speed sections and a 1.047 km main straight, creating diverse performance demands. Since 2019 the Spanish circuit has regularly hosted the ELMS race, though the event was not held in 2020 due to pandemic restrictions and moved to August in 2022.
