Euro RX of Sweden
Höljes Motorstadion in Sweden is located deep in the Värmland forest not far from the Norwegian border and is one of the world's most iconic rallycross tracks. The venue is a very special place for rallycross - the atmosphere, the history and the passion of the fans make it one of the highlights of the season, and for many people it represents the true spirit of the sport. The circuit held its first event in February 1976 in front of 3,500 people, won by rallycross legend Per Eklund. Höljes joined the FIA European Rallycross Championship calendar in 1991, became a permanent fixture eight years later, and has been a popular World Championship venue since the series' inception - the 'Magic Weekend' event regularly attracts around 50,000 fans. Following Hungary, the championship heads north for the Euro RX of Sweden at Höljes Motorstadion, one of the most celebrated events in the sport.
