Techno Classica Salon Dortmund
Since its debut in 1989 in Essen, Techno Classica has been regarded as the "mother of all classic car fairs" and served as the traditional opening event of the classic car season in Europe for more than three decades. The relocation to Dortmund marks a bold new chapter for one of the world's most significant classic car exhibitions. The new format builds on this success story while emphasizing increased internationality, quality, and a fresh concept. The exhibition spans 50,000 square meters with approximately 1,250 exhibitors from 30 nations and over 200 clubs presenting thousands of classic vehicles. Messe Dortmund offers 50,000 square meters of exhibition space, with organisers citing improved infrastructure and accessibility as key benefits. The new format introduces themed areas including Historic Rallye World and the Pre-War Classic Garden, alongside a greater emphasis on modern high-performance machinery through Super Sports Cars and Hypercars sections.
