Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been held at the Yas Marina Circuit since 2009, a Hermann Tilke-designed facility built around the marina on Yas Island that passes underneath a futuristic hotel. It was the first Grand Prix to be held at dusk. The 5.5-kilometer circuit features 21 corners and includes the longest acceleration stretch of any F1 track in the world at 1,173 metres. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has become the traditional season finale for the Formula 1 World Championship since its introduction in 2009. Four world champions have been crowned at this venue: Sebastian Vettel in 2010, Lewis Hamilton in 2014, Nico Rosberg in 2016, and Max Verstappen in 2021.
