Brands Hatch hosts the GT World Challenge Europe as the flagship sports car fixture of the circuit's centenary season. The Kent circuit's famed Grand Prix layout retains its traditional position as the opening event of the Sprint Cup format, with Sunday featuring a pair of one-hour races with pit stops and driver changes. The circuit was the scene of motorcycle events in the 1920s on a three quarter mile dirt track carved out of a forested bowl. The natural amphitheatre offers spectators views of the circuit from multiple vantage points and has hosted Formula One Grand Prix races.
