Detroit
The Indy NXT race in Detroit is Round 7 of the 2026 season. The Grand Prix takes place on a 1.645-mile street circuit in downtown Detroit - a nine-turn temporary course running along Jefferson Avenue, Bates Street, Atwater Street, St. Antoine, Franklin Street and Rivard. This new layout has been in use since 2023. Andretti Global has secured two Indy NXT victories on this configuration, plus four pole positions. The modern Detroit Grand Prix began in 1982 and has returned as a permanent fixture on the IndyCar calendar after several interruptions spanning 43 years.
