VIR
Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, hosted the seventh round of the 2026 MotoAmerica Championship. The uphill Esses and sharp elevation changes make it a fan and driver favorite. VIR was one of only two venues with tripleheaders in August this season. Founded in 1957, Virginia International Raceway was one of the major sports car racing facilities during the 1960s. After financial difficulties, the track closed in 1974 and reverted to farmland until Harvey Siegel purchased it in 1998 and undertook restoration to world-class standards. The Motul ADV Experience returned to VIR for the second year in a row, offering adventure riders a unique festival atmosphere alongside the racing weekend.
