Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix

Friday, 23 October 2026 · Phillip Island Circuit, Ventnor · 🇦🇺 Australia

Phillip Island Circuit is the home of Australian motorcycle racing tradition and was first used for motorcycle races in 1931, with a permanent track built in 1956. MotoGP returned in 1989 and 1990 before becoming a permanent fixture from 1997 onwards. The Phillip Island circuit is blessed with breathtaking scenery and beautiful ocean views and, as one of the fastest, most fluid, tracks on the calendar, it continues to provide some of the most spectacular racing in the MotoGP season. Located on the edge of the Bass Strait, Phillip Island is widely considered the most picturesque and fastest flowing track on the schedule. Phillip Island requires less braking than any other MotoGP circuit. Extreme weather changes - locals say four seasons can occur in one day - combined with the fast, flowing layout featuring only two slow corners make this circuit unique.
