Grand Prix of Hungary
The Grand Prix of Hungary is the eighth round of the 2026 MotoGP season. Balaton Park Circuit is located near the stunning shores of Lake Balaton, an area with major touristic appeal. The circuit emerged from a broader initiative to strengthen Hungary's presence in motorsport - construction began in 2019, led by a group of private investors, including former racecar driver Chanoch Nissany. The return to Hungary marks a highly anticipated comeback after 33 years for the Hungarian Grand Prix class. The modern Balaton Park Circuit has been designed to challenge the world's fastest riders.
