The Autotrader 400 is the second race of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season at one of the country's fastest racetracks. The 1.540-mile quad-oval track features 28 degrees of banking in the turns and is renowned for high speeds. Following a reconfiguration in 2021, the track produces the pack racing style seen at superspeedways. Since its 1997 renovation, Atlanta Motor Speedway has become one of the fastest and most competitive tracks on the circuit, with races typically featuring more than thirty lead changes.

It features an asphalt surface and hosts the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and NASCAR Xfinity Series. The speedway was renamed Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1990 after being purchased by Bruton Smith and has undergone continuous improvements and expansions since then.
