The 2.4-kilometre track is the shortest on the Supercars Championship calendar and features seven corners. It is characterized by fast straights and the notorious Brambles Hairpin, an extremely tight hairpin bend at Turn 4 that provides one of the best overtaking opportunities. The circuit opened in 1960 and has been Tasmania's home for touring car and championship racing for decades.
