[TEST] Prologue
The Prologue takes place on 14 April in Imola, marking the pre-season test event. The traditional testing session was relocated from Qatar to Italy. On this day, teams and drivers from the Hypercar and LMGT3 classes conduct a total of eight hours of track time divided into two sessions. The season's opening race, the 6 Hours of Imola, follows immediately thereafter from 17 to 19 April at the circuit on the banks of the Santerno. While Imola has never previously hosted a WEC round, the Italian circuit has endurance racing pedigree - exactly fifty years ago, in 1974, it staged the 1000 km of Imola, and from 2013 to 2016 and in 2022, it hosted European Le Mans Series rounds. The circuit is characterised by its unique old-school feel.
