Rally Japan
Rally Japan is the seventh round of the 2026 World Rally Championship. The event is based in the Aichi and Gifu prefectures and features narrow, twisty stages often lined by barriers, drop-offs or dense trees. Since its WRC return in 2022, Japan has reasserted itself as a unique and punishing test - a place where championship campaigns can rise or unravel in the blink of an eye. The decision to reposition Rally Japan into a May slot adds meaningful sporting benefit by interrupting what would otherwise be a long sequence of gravel rallies, helping to limit the impact of road sweeping for early championship leaders.
