Spanish Round
The Circuito de Jerez represents a longstanding venue for international motorcycle racing in Andalusia. Opened in 1985, the circuit has borne the name of Spanish motorcycle legend Ángel Nieto since 2018, honouring his illustrious career spanning thirteen world championships between 1964 and 1986. The circuit, stretching nearly 4.4 kilometres with thirteen demanding corners, consistently tests the skills of Superbike World Championship competitors. The Pirelli Spanish Round at Jerez constitutes the fourth round of the season, positioning it as a pivotal mid-season event in the championship battle.
