The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland is a one-make racing series in which all drivers operate technically identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup vehicles. The series features 30-minute sprint races in a professional environment and has been held since 1990, making it the oldest Porsche one-make cup in the world. Race weekends take place at established racing circuits and Formula 1 tracks, often as support series for the DTM. A typical race weekend consists of two races per day, each lasting just over 30 minutes. The series offers spectators thrilling contests between aspiring young drivers and seasoned veterans, with worldwide media coverage through television and the internet.
