24h Nürburgring Prolog
The 24h Nürburgring Prologue marks the start of the newly created ADAC 24h Nürburgring Series. Alongside the traditional 24h Nürburgring and 24h Qualifiers, this new prologue provides teams and drivers with extensive testing opportunities ahead of the four-day season highlight on the Nordschleife. The Nürburgring offers an iconic challenge - the Nordschleife is the longest and most dangerous race track in the world at 20.832 km in length, featuring 73 bends with gradients of up to 18 percent and slopes of up to 11 percent. Since Hans-Joachim Stuck's inaugural victory, the competition has steadily professionalized while maintaining its open spirit since the first edition in June 1970. The prologue serves as the opening event in the 2027 season, preceding the main race in May.
