ADAC 3-Städte-Rallye, Hauzenberg
After a three-year break, the ADAC 3-Städte Rally returns as its 59th edition to the calendar of the German Rally Championship, serving as the sixth round of Germany's top rally series. The special stages in the Bavarian Forest are partly known from the FIA World Rally Championship. Hauzenberg is located approximately 25 kilometres north-east of Passau. Drivers face a total of twelve challenging special stages at this traditional event. Since 1963, the event has stood for more than motorsport, born as a "rally for peace" during the Cold War. With its cross-border concept, the ADAC 3-Städte Rally was the pioneer for the FIA World Rally Championship-counting Central European Rally. It holds status in the FIA European Rally Trophy, the German Rally Championship and the Mitropa Rally Cup.
