4 Hours of Portimão
The 4 Hours of Portimão has been part of the European Le Mans Series in four-hour format since 2017 and serves as the season finale. Located near Portimão in Portugal's Algarve region, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve has developed into one of Europe's most respected modern racing circuits, admired for its technical layout, dramatic elevation changes and excellent spectator facilities. The layout features a modern mixed-speed design with considerable elevation changes far more pronounced than at most other modern venues, creating a dramatic roller-coaster effect. The race was established in 2009 as an endurance event for sports cars at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
