Peoria TT
This marks the 79th edition of the Peoria TT, taking place on August 22. Fans line the hills surrounding the Peoria Motorcycle Club Race Park's natural amphitheater, just as they have since 1947. The 5/8-mile circuit features a notably long front stretch and a famous jump with blind landing that must be hit at speed. Despite its long history, the winners list remains shockingly exclusive, with just nine different winners in the last 38 runnings, led by Henry Wiles with 14 victories and Chris Carr with 13. A victory at the Peoria TT ranks among the Grand National Championship's most coveted goals.
