Hungaroring
The International GT Open is a grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded in 2006 and visits the Hungaroring as the fourth round of the 2026 season. The Hungaroring celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026 and has established itself as a reliable venue for this prestigious championship. The Hungaroring has hosted the International GT Open regularly since 2020. The circuit northeast of Budapest is characterized by its technically demanding layout - the course features an extremely winding track configuration with many slow and medium-speed turns. The Hungaroring is situated in a valley, while the surrounding grandstands are built on elevated positions above the valley floor, allowing nearly 80 percent of the race track to be viewed from the stands.
