The circuit measures 4.048 miles with 14 turns and is among the rare road racing venues worldwide that maintain their original configuration - featuring significant elevation changes and a long straightaway where speeds approaching 200 mph may be reached. Founded in 1955, Road America represented the shift from street racing through the small town of Elkhart Lake to a large, dedicated race track. Situated on 640 acres and hosting over 400 events annually, the facility regularly welcomes the IMSA SportsCar Championship and GT World Challenge America.
