The eighth round of the 2026 IMSA SportsCar Championship takes place on Road America's 4.048-mile circuit with 14 turns, which has remained virtually unchanged since its opening. The 2026 event has been expanded to six hours, placing it alongside IMSA's premier endurance races including the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, and Motul Petit Le Mans. This marks the first time in IMSA sports car racing history that a six-hour endurance race is held at Road America. The track's long straightaways, high-speed corners, elevation changes, and heavy braking zones test every part of a race team. This is the thirteenth consecutive IMSA championship race at Road America.
