Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen
Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen is the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's annual date with one of the world's most iconic racetracks, Watkins Glen International. Opened in 1956, the circuit hosted the first Six Hours of The Glen in 1968. IMSA first included the six-hour race on its schedule in 1984, and in 1998 the race was restored to its full six hours for a combined field of prototypes and GT cars. For the first time since the spring season, all four categories of the WeatherTech Championship will race on track simultaneously. The venue blends motor racing heritage with contemporary competition in New York's Finger Lakes region.
