Grand Prix of the Americas

Sunday, 29 March 2026 路 Circuit of the Americas, Austin 路 馃嚭馃嚫 United States

The Grand Prix of the Americas serves as the third round of the 2026 Moto3 World Championship. The Circuit of the Americas is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S. near Austin, Texas, with a 5.513 km track and a capacity for 120,000 fans. The facility was completed in 2012, with MotoGP racing at the track for the first time in 2013 - one of its more distinctive features is a near 41-meter elevation change with an impressive incline at the end of the home-straight followed by a sharp left. The 20-corner counterclockwise layout deliberately incorporates elements inspired by other iconic circuits: the steep uphill braking zone at Turn 1, the flowing Turns 3-6 reminiscent of Silverstone's Maggotts-Becketts, and the triple-apex Turns 16-18 echoing Istanbul Park's Turn 8, while its 41 metres of elevation change and famously bumpy surface make it physically demanding.
