The 84th running of the Daytona 200 serves as the opening round of the 2026 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship and will award championship points for the first time since 2014. Founded in 1937, this 200-mile race takes place at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The original course used the beach itself before relocating to a paved circuit in 1961. The race reached its zenith of worldwide popularity in the 1970s.
