Goodwood Revival
The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September for racing cars and motorcycles from the circuit's original period of 1948-1966. It is the only major motorsport event to be staged entirely in period dress. From 1948 to 1966 the Goodwood Motor Circuit was the spiritual home of British motor racing and hosted legendary races attended by drivers such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Jim Clark and Graham Hill. Motor racing returned to Goodwood for the first time since the circuit's closure in 1966 when the Revival was established in 1998. It has become the world's most celebrated historic motor racing event.
