The Dollar Tree 301 was contested over 301 laps on the 1.058-mile oval and was the 25th race of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosts New England's only NASCAR Cup Series race. This event proved crucial for the championship battle: Following the Dollar Tree 301, Denny Hamlin clinched the No. 1 seed in The Chase, the Cup Series' championship format marking its return after last being implemented in 2013. The famed 1.058-mile speedway, known as "The Magic Mile," has hosted world-class NASCAR events for three decades. The track opened in 1990 and has delivered NASCAR Cup Series races since 1993. New Hampshire Motor Speedway is considered the NASCAR track for the Northeastern fan base, some of racing's most passionate supporters.
