Daytona - Coke Zero Sugar 400

Sunday, 30 August 2026 · Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach · 🇺🇸 United States

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 serves as the NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale, featuring a 160-lap, 400-mile race at Daytona International Speedway. The track features 31-degree banking in the turns, allowing for high-speed racing and is the second of two major stock car events held at Daytona, the other being the Daytona 500. Since 2020, the race has been held in late August as the final race of the NASCAR regular season. Built in 1959 by NASCAR founder Bill France Sr., the speedway was designed as a safer, more modern racing venue compared to the beach courses previously used. The race was first held in 1959 and the summer race has been held under the lights since 1998. Daytona is directly tied to the founding of NASCAR, with the city linked to the origins of the sanctioning body itself.
