Homestead-Miami - Championship
The NASCAR Championship Weekend returns to Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2026 - marking the first time since 2019 that all three NASCAR national series will crown their champions at the South Florida racetrack. The facility hosted the NASCAR Championship Weekend from 2002 through 2019 and now returns under a new rotating model designed to share the season-ending championship among multiple marquee NASCAR venues and markets. Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series have been held at Homestead-Miami Speedway since the track's inauguration in 1995, with the race serving as the season finale for much of its history. The 1.5-mile oval features progressive banking of 18-20 degrees in the turns, and underwent an $8.2 million reconfiguration in summer 1997 that transformed the layout from a rectangle to a traditional continuous-turn oval.
