Mobility Resort Motegi
With the curtain-raiser on April 4, 2026, Mobility Resort Motegi marks the circuit's first season-opening role since the COVID-disrupted 2020 campaign. The 4.8-kilometre racing venue is located in Japan's Tochigi prefecture and has a history of favouring Honda-powered cars, with four of the past five races being won by a Honda-powered car. The circuit has been recently resurfaced. Built in 1997 by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., as part of the company's effort to bring the Championship Auto Racing Teams series to Japan, the facility is now operated by Honda Mobilityland. The 2026 Super Formula season comprises seven rounds at various venues, and Motegi provides an internationally-standard venue for Japan's motorsport elite.
