The WSBK - Portuguese Round - Race 1 takes place at the Aut贸dromo Internacional do Algarve near Portim茫o in southern Portugal. The 4592-meter circuit is characterized by a challenging track layout with nine right-hand and six left-hand corners, some of which are taken blind. With several uphill and downhill sections, the track blends seamlessly into the hilly landscape of the Algarve and is known for its directional and elevation changes as well as long flowing corners. The race track was opened in November 2008 and has since become a regular fixture on the World Superbike Championship calendar.
