Grand Prix of Malaysia
The Sepang International Circuit was designed by renowned racetrack architect Hermann Tilke and hosted its first Grand Prix in 1999. With four slow corners following two long straights and ten medium to high-speed corners, the wide track is particularly favourable to overtaking manoeuvres and full throttle passages. One of the longest laps in MotoGP is made all the more gruelling for riders by intense heat and humidity. The 2026 Malaysian Grand Prix is scheduled as round 19 of the season and continues as an established classic on the calendar, promising competitive motorcycle racing.
