Grand Prix of Thailand
The Grand Prix of Thailand marks the opening race of the 2026 Moto2 season at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram. Designed by German architect Hermann Tilke, the circuit opened in 2014 with MotoGP making its debut in 2018 - located 410 kilometres northeast of Bangkok, in the province of Buriram, which literally means "city of happiness". Its typically hot and humid weather is a key feature of its Southeast Asian location. The circuit is characterised by four long consecutive straights interrupted by tight right-hand turns, where engine power plays an important role.

Designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke and constructed in just 422 days, the circuit has become a significant venue for motorcycle racing since the MotoGP debut in 2018.
