[TEST] Buriram
The 2026 Moto2 season opens in Buriram with the Thai Grand Prix as the first of 22 race events. The Buriram International Circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, opened in 2014, with MotoGP making its debut in 2018. The 4.554 km layout features 12 turns and is located approximately 410 km northeast of Bangkok in the typically hot and humid Southeast Asian climate. Thailand was appointed as the championship season opener for two consecutive seasons in 2025 and 2026.

The MotoGP - Buriram Sprint takes place on the Chang International Circuit in northeastern Thailand. The circuit opened in 2014 and measures 4.554 kilometers in length with a total of twelve turns, five left-handers and seven right-handers. The longest straight measures exactly one kilometer and enables high speeds. Designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke and constructed in just 422 days, the circuit has become a significant venue for motorcycle racing since the MotoGP debut in 2018.
