Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini
The Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini is one of the historic rounds of the FIM Motorcycle World Championship, held permanently at the Misano World Circuit since 2007 and named after Italian rider Marco Simoncelli, who tragically died in 2011. The race is held each September at Misano Adriatico. Misano ranks among the most compact circuits on the MotoGP calendar with 4.226 kilometres length, 16 corners, and the longest straight measuring just 565 metres, making overtaking a genuine challenge.
