Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini
The San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix allows Italy to hold two races in the Motorcycle World Championship. Since 2007, the race takes place at Misano World Circuit. The permanent racing facility measures 4.226 kilometres with 16 turns. In 2012, the track was renamed to commemorate Marco Simoncelli, a local motorcycle racer who died in 2011. The event is a permanent fixture of the World Championship and features a lighting system that enables it to host night races.

Misano World Circuit is a motorsport racing track in Misano Adriatico on Italy's Adriatic Riviera and opened in 1972. The circuit has a total length of 4.226 kilometers with 16 turns and was completed in its current form in 2007 after the racing direction was reversed. Misano World Circuit is the only race track in Italy hosting both MotoGP and Moto2 and Moto3 championships as well as GT races from GT World Challenge Europe. The track features a flat design with fast straights and challenging corners, particularly the distinctive double-curve complex known as Curvone.
