Indianapolis - Brickyard 400
The Brickyard 400 is an annual NASCAR Cup Series race held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The inaugural race took place in 1994 and was the first race other than the Indianapolis 500 to be held at the Speedway since 1916. In its first running, the Brickyard 400 became NASCAR's most-attended event, drawing an estimated crowd of more than 250,000 spectators and generating one of NASCAR's highest purses. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is often called "The Brickyard" because brick paving, begun in October 1909, appeared to be the best and safest alternative to the oiled crushed rock used earlier. The 2026 race is the 22nd event of the season and the fifth and final race of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge on the 2.5-mile oval.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a 2.5-mile oval racing circuit located in Speedway, Indiana, which opened in 1909. The historic course features four turns with a banking of 9.2 degrees and is paved with asphalt, with original bricks preserved at the start-finish line. The track was originally paved with 3.2 million bricks, earning it the nickname The Brickyard. In addition to the classic oval configuration, there are also road course layouts with up to 16 turns for various motorsport series. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is renowned as the Home of American Racing and is one of the world's most iconic racing circuits.
