The BMW M2 Cup is a single-make racing series for customer drivers using the BMW M2 Racing, a touring car with a 4-cylinder engine and 313 hp. The series targets emerging talent from age 15 and takes place in Germany on top-tier racing circuits such as the Lausitzring, operating as part of the DTM support programme. It provides a structured entry point into motorsport with comprehensive support from BMW M Motorsport. A typical race weekend includes practice and qualifying sessions followed by competitive races. Distinctive features include low vehicle operating costs, extensive driver development through coaching by factory drivers and media training, test drives in the BMW M4 GT4 EVO for top-3 finishers, and integration into the ADAC 'Road to DTM' talent promotion programme.
