Super GT is a Japanese motor racing series for grand touring cars featuring two classes: GT500 and GT300. The series began in 1993 as the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) and was renamed Super GT in 2005. It is the top level of sports car racing in Japan and is sanctioned by the Japan Automobile Federation. Races take place mainly at Japanese circuits including Okayama, Fuji, Suzuka, Sugo, Autopolis and Motegi. Most races are 300-kilometer sprints with one mandatory pit stop for driver changes and refueling, while two races feature longer distances with multiple stops. The multi-class racing format creates competitive drama and strategic opportunities. The next round is Mobility Resort Motegi on Saturday, 7 November 2026 at Mobility Resort Motegi.
