Red Bull Ring - Feature

Saturday, 27 June 2026 路 Red Bull Ring, Spielberg 路 馃嚘馃嚬 Austria

The circuit in Styria was opened in 1969 as the 脰sterreichring, and the first Formula 1 race took place a year later. After a revision by track architect Hermann Tilke, the course returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 1997 as the A1-Ring and remained there until 2003. Following further comprehensive reconstruction and modernization work, the circuit celebrated a second comeback in Formula 1 in 2014 as the Red Bull Ring. Today, the Red Bull Ring ranks among Europe's most modern motorsport venues and serves as a host circuit for renowned international racing series. A distinctive feature of the Red Bull Ring is the elevation changes that provide unique visibility of the circuit layout. The Remus corner is arguably the best overtaking opportunity on the track.
