The 2026 Silverstone Formula 2 round was Round 7 of 14 in the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship. Sunday's Feature Race brings the curtain down on the weekend and the first half of the 2026 campaign. The Silverstone Circuit was built on an abandoned Second World War airfield for the British Grand Prix, and the first race of the first Formula 1 Championship took place here in 1950. The track layout has been modified several times over the years to provide drivers both exciting and technically demanding sections. The event was held in support of the 2026 British Grand Prix.

The Silverstone Circuit is a permanent racing track located in Silverstone, Great Britain, built on the site of a former Royal Air Force airfield that was first used for motorsport in 1948. The circuit is characterized by a relatively flat surface and high-speed corners such as Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel, where drivers experience lateral forces exceeding five G. Silverstone hosted the first official Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950 and remains one of the most renowned venues in motorsport. The changeable British weather with frequent rainfall and fog led to the relocation of the British Grand Prix from April to July starting in 2000.
