British Grand Prix
With 75 years of history and one of the fastest tracks on the MotoGP calendar, Silverstone has become a prestigious motorcycle racing venue. The first motorcycle Grand Prix was held here in 1977, and the British Grand Prix returned to Silverstone in 2010 after many years at other circuits. The long straights and mostly fast corners make Silverstone one of the fastest circuits in motorcycle racing, with average speeds exceeding 175 km/h. As the twelfth round of the 2026 season, this race marks a crucial mid-season encounter.

The Silverstone Circuit is a permanent racing track located in Silverstone, Great Britain, built on the site of a former Royal Air Force airfield that was first used for motorsport in 1948. The circuit is characterized by a relatively flat surface and high-speed corners such as Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel, where drivers experience lateral forces exceeding five G. Silverstone hosted the first official Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950 and remains one of the most renowned venues in motorsport. The changeable British weather with frequent rainfall and fog led to the relocation of the British Grand Prix from April to July starting in 2000.
