Sonoma
Sonoma Raceway launches the 2026 North American sports car racing season with GT World Challenge America, bringing world-class teams, drivers and exotic GT race cars to Northern California to begin the championship on one of the most challenging circuits in North America. The 12-turn layout and technical character of the rolling hills of Northern California present a distinctive test compared to other circuits. With more elevation change than any other NASCAR road course, Sonoma demands precision and patience from competitors. The opening round features premier GT3 class machines from leading manufacturers competing in weekend races where strategy, driver changes, pit stops and raw speed combine to test both drivers and machines.
