Martinsville - NFPA 250
The NFPA 250 is contested over the 0.526-mile paperclip-shaped oval and is the seventh race of the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season. At 0.526 miles in length, it is currently the shortest track in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the track was built in 1947 by H. Clay Earles, one of the first paved oval tracks in NASCAR. It is the only remaining race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit from its beginning in 1948. The track's layout, characterized by two long straights and tight, flat turns, is frequently compared to the shape of a paperclip.
