Silverstone
The Michelin Le Mans Cup heads to Silverstone for the penultimate round of the 2026 season, with the strong possibility of at least one championship title being decided at the British venue. As opposed to 12 months ago, the event will feature a standard two-hour race this time around. Silverstone was the first venue for the Michelin Le Mans Cup since the series was launched in 2016 before returning in 2025. The circuit boasts remarkable heritage - it is built on the site of a Royal Air Force bomber station operational between 1943 and 1946. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. Silverstone has developed from its windswept airfield origins into one of the most recognised circuits in world motorsport.

The Silverstone Circuit is a permanent racing track located in Silverstone, Great Britain, built on the site of a former Royal Air Force airfield that was first used for motorsport in 1948. The circuit is characterized by a relatively flat surface and high-speed corners such as Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel, where drivers experience lateral forces exceeding five G. Silverstone hosted the first official Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950 and remains one of the most renowned venues in motorsport. The changeable British weather with frequent rainfall and fog led to the relocation of the British Grand Prix from April to July starting in 2000.
